Gustavo Corrida – a Brazilian football fan who lives in the Caribbean and recently moved to Australia, he joined the team to attend the Gulls. Corrida started watching football at home as a child and had to study at the University of Florida until he was 10 years old.
He started watching football at 17 and in 2005 played his senior season with Vitebs.
It was during the 2002-03 season that Corrida was sent to a team in Germany to take on Dortmund in the FA Cup, followed by a further two seasons in Germany.
In his third season he scored 12 goals; in the second he scored seven; and then scored 13 goals after playing 26 games. Corrida was immediately voted as one of Germany's top goalkeepers.
He also captained his country to the Euro 2004 and 2010 World Cups.
In 2012, Corrida, after the decision had been made, was sent home from World Cup preparations for the 2015 football World Cup Qualifiers against Turkey, but won an FA Cup with the national side.
In 2014, Corrida was named World's Best Goalkeeper and Goalkeeper of the Year by Footballer and Football News UK after recording his fourth World Cup goal. He also starred for his junior side but then missed out for Germany over the rest of the 2014 campaign.
