"I would say it could be very nice as it is like a different city without so many places for them to hang out. The hotels are great. We're close to the main railway station to Munich and just a bit too far south.

"We are very lucky enough to have such a nice city with a history which is really very interesting to say the least.

"It also means you can watch a lot of football at the local airport with us too. The railway network is very nice as well and we already have a train service from Munich, this is very special."

Branik was also keen to see how the new stadium would respond to the rise of an influx of foreigners into the German capital.

"We are looking at a number of options at this time. There have been discussions with the various leagues of football in Germany to try and develop this new pitch and the league could be up for some work at this stage. We will explore as much as we can, especially with the potential that the new stadium could also benefit German football in general," said a statement from the club.

"However, it will be of major concern that the stadium lacks any commercial character. It will need to provide many attractions and are no longer a suitable fit for new home.

"It is only a matter of time before these attractions are replaced by this other kind of football
