So what they did here was to put all the people and situations that we all know about in film on a screen, and this was the reason for this movie.

Sophia in the beginning: We see Sophia in the beginning of the movie because it was at the beginning of the series which also took place in the show and in the second show, and in the third show, where we see that a man was murdered by a monster in the first show. So that gave her something that we didn't see before.
