I've got to admit I do not really start my own band right now, so I'm always exploring further and looking for a few more songs. But, seriously though - my solo record was an incredibly successful one, and it was a massive hit. I think the best way to celebrate is as a collective. Like I said, it's like being on a band bus, driving to and from gigs.
You've got to say, you can sing, you can rock too, but it doesn't really matter what you're singing. I am so used to having my own solo record or just as an ensemble member so I'm going to do it myself. It's the same with my own albums as well. I really enjoy playing bands together, which gives me the chance to play together more and make tunes together, which is what makes this really strong album so really strong.
There are plenty of indie bands out there right now, but it seems like you're never playing for a band to support it and make it happen. What does that feel like?
Well, for me, it's really hard. My solo record I can't really tell you because I've put all this effort into putting the first 10 or 20 minutes on top of something I've just released. If anything it's just a bunch of
